On Being a Dentist
I am proud of the care we provide our patients, and am honored to help them achieve their dental goals. Each person has specific clinical, timeline, and emotional concerns; I work with them to find the treatment solutions right for their situation. In doing so, we get to know each other and often become friends.
Whether I am relieving a person of dental pain, restoring function, or giving them a confident smile, I am changing their life. Being able to create positive change for those in our community is personally and professionally rewarding.
Education and Continuing Education
- Doctorate of Dental Surgery, Columbia University School of Dental Medicine
- Advanced Education in General Dentistry, Columbia University
Every year I participate in many hours of continuing dental education. This ensures I remain up-to-date on current trends in dentistry, including new techniques and materials. By attending meetings, seminars, and lectures, along with taking online courses, I am constantly expanding what I am able to offer my patients.
- American Dental Association
- New York State Dental Association
- Queens County Dental Society
- The Dental Study Club of New York
When I’m not at work, I enjoy spending time with my four children, who keep me very busy. The fact that I have children, I think, makes me feel in tune and connected with our younger and adolescent patients.
