On Being a Dentist
I truly enjoy all aspects of dentistry. My goal is to provide gentle, thorough dental care that exceeds a patient’s expectations. Working one-to-one, each patient and I determine the treatment plan that is right for their needs. This interaction often results in us becoming close, and I love the stories that patients choose to share with me. They teach me so much!
I’m passionate about educating people. The more a person knows about the important role oral health plays in their overall body health, the more likely they are to take it seriously. By educating, and helping people develop good habits, along with teaching them how to make good decisions, I know their smile and their body will be healthier. They’ll be happier, too!
Education and Continuing Education
- Undergraduate degree, New York University
- Doctorate of Dental Surgery, New York University Dental School
- General Practice Residency, New York Hospital/Queens
One of the biggest responsibilities of being a dentist is remaining up-to-date on developments in the field. There are ongoing changes in treatments, and new technologies and materials are being developed. My patients trust me to provide them with the best care available, and continuing education makes that possible. Each year I take many courses to expand and strengthen my knowledge and skills, so I can meet my patients’ expectations.
I’ve lived in New York since I was nine years old. I’m married, with three young children. When not at the office, I’m likely spending time with my family. I love taking my children to the amazing museums in the area.
